Michael established and managed several businesses prior to the establishment of Deden. In addition to his own coaching business, from which Deden evolved, Michael helped set up an e-commerce company, of which he was the vice-president. He coached, as a non-executive director, a London-based film production company from set-up through to its establishing an international sales distribution network. Michael directed the establishment of a national property investment company, which has now been sold to a larger firm.

Michael used his experience to present personal development and wealth creation seminars locally and in New Zealand. Michael's business, providing personal and business coaching, joined forces with a Sydney investment company to combine his skills as a personal coach with investment strategies enabling astounding results for his clients. Michael also has experience in the international options trading market.

Michael has invested widely with his wife, Jackie. They hold a high-growth portfolio of property and businesses in Australia. Michael and Jackie are focusing on increasing their residential property portfolio as this is by far their best investment vehicle.

On a personal note, Jackie and Michael are enjoying watching their daughter grow, experiment, learn and prosper. Michael and Jackie are working to provide a positive and happy environment for her.
